Prof. Dr. Hanan Suliman, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Science, participated in receiving a high-level scientific delegation from Nanjing University, China, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs. The visit comes as part of executing activities for joint Egyptian-Chinese Research Project No. (50515) titled:
"Risk Assessment and Removal of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFASs): Case Studies of Water Resources in the Lower Reaches of the Nile and Yangtze Rivers."
The meeting was attended by members of the research team from the Faculty of Science, including:
Dr. Rehab Khaled Mahmoud (Principal Investigator), Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Wahed, Dr. Ahmed Allam, Dr. Heba Ahmed Younis, Dr. Samar Mahmoud Mahgoub, Dr. Abrar Ramadan, and Dr. Hamdi Allam.
This visit falls within the framework of fostering scientific and research cooperation between Beni Suef University and Nanjing University, promoting the exchange of expertise in environmental chemistry, water quality, and emerging pollutant treatment. These efforts aim to advance joint research projects that address environmental and sustainable development issues.
