Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, chaired today the 357th Faculty of Science Council meeting, in the presence of Dr. Hanan Suliman, Acting Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Abdel-Azeem Shaaban, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs; Dr. Salah Mowafak, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University, along with members of the council.
During the meeting, the University President highlighted the distinguished status that the Faculty of Science holds within the university, expressing his pride in belonging to it as one of its alumni. He pointed out that the faculty will witness a major leap in the upcoming period, particularly with the relocation to the new building in East Nile, which is being equipped in accordance with the latest international specifications.
The University President reviewed the vital role played by the Faculty of Science in supporting the educational and research processes across the university, emphasizing that the college serves as a primary pillar in the university's trajectory toward academic and research excellence. He stressed the necessity of continuously upgrading laboratories and supplying them with all required resources to keep pace with modern scientific advancements, noting that the university places special emphasis on providing an integrated educational environment that enables students and faculty members to conduct research and academic activities to the highest quality standards.
The University President explained that the faculty's new building in East Nile represents a qualitative shift in its journey, as it is being fitted according to global standards to ensure an advanced learning and research environment. He affirmed that this development will elevate the college's status and contribute to raising the caliber of students and researchers, emphasizing that the university will continue to extend its full support to the faculty to achieve its strategic objectives.
For their part, attendees affirmed the importance of ongoing cooperation among various sectors to resolve obstacles and follow up on the implementation of development plans, thereby realizing the university's vision of community service and advancing scientific research.
