Field Visit to Misr Company for Intermediate Chemicals

A delegation of students from the Faculty of Science at Beni Suef University participated in a field visit to Misr Company for Intermediate Chemicals, as part of efforts to strengthen the integration between academic study and practical application. The visit was organized in line with the directives of Prof. Dr. Wael Hozien, Dean of the Faculty of Science, emphasizing the importance of linking theoretical learning with real-world industrial experience.

The visit was organized by the Department of Popular and Military Defense at Beni Suef University, led by Colonel Khaled Nabil, and included participation from the Faculty of Science delegation.

The accompanying supervisors included Dr. Aya Ibrahim Taghyan, Lecturer in the Department of Botany and Microbiology, and Ms. Manar Sadeq, Youth Welfare Officer at the Faculty. The visit also included 27 male and female students from various departments of the Faculty.

The visit aimed to familiarize students with different stages of production, modern technologies used in the chemical industry, as well as quality standards, occupational safety procedures, and environmental requirements. This contributes to enhancing students’ industrial awareness and linking academic knowledge with labor market realities.

The Dean of the Faculty emphasized that such field visits are part of the Faculty’s commitment to preparing scientifically and practically qualified graduates capable of meeting development needs and labor market demands.
