Faculty of Science – Beni Suef University Organizes a Scientific Seminar on Smart Multi-Functional Materials
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Wael Nabil Hozien, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Arefa Hussein Ali, President of the Egyptian Materials Research Society (Eg-MRS), and Prof. Dr. Raafat Mohamed Mostafa, Head of the Physics Department, the Faculty of Science at Beni Suef University, in cooperation with the Egyptian Materials Research Society (Eg-MRS), organized the 56th one-day seminar entitled:
Smart, Multi-functional Materials and its Applications (IV)
The seminar was held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Faculty of Science premises.
The event witnessed distinguished attendance from faculty members, researchers, and students. During his speech, Prof. Dr. Wael Nabil Hozien, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized the importance of supporting scientific research, encouraging young researchers, and strengthening collaboration with specialized scientific associations.
The seminar addressed the latest research trends and scientific applications in the field of smart multi-functional materials, with the participation of a select group of professors and specialists.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the Egyptian Materials Research Society announced the names of the young researchers who received awards and honored them as follows:

2. Researcher Mohamed Kordi
3. Assistant Lecturer Basma Ali Abdel Halim
4. Assistant Lecturer Mai Medhat El-Sayed
