Quality Assurance Center visits the Faculty of Science

As part of the final stages of the college's preparation for applying for programmatic accreditation for some of its programmes, the Quality Assurance Center at the university, represented by Prof. Dr. Heba Atef El-Shimi - Director of the Center and Prof. Dr. Abeer Sayed Moawad - Deputy Director of the Center visited the College of Science and met with Prof. Dr. / Sherif Hassan Mohamed - Director of the Quality Assurance and Qualification Unit for accreditation, heads of scientific departments concerned with accreditation, and coordinators of the three programs applying for accreditation on Sunday, August 27, 2023, in the training hall, at 10 am.
The following points were agreed upon:
1) By September 5, 2023, the preparation of the self-study file for the programs and their attachments will be completed as discussed in previous workshops for uploading files to the Commission’s website (each indicator separately for each criterion). This is to be submitted to the Quality Assurance Center for review as a final confirmatory step before the simulation visit for the accreditation visit.
2) No later than September 9, 2023, the program description, course description, program annual report and course reports will be completed after making the modifications suggested by the external auditor.
